Introducing the DWX-4W, the latest in Roland technology that goes beyond dry milling to quickly and easily wet mill popular glass ceramic and composite resins with precision and reliability.
The DWX-4W wet mill cuts precision crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays, and veneers. Simultaneous 4-axis milling and other special features provide unattended milling. Up to three standard pin-type blocks can be loaded for increased efficiency. In addition to milling on X, Y and Z axes, the DWX-4W rotates pin-type blocks 360 degrees on a fourth axis (A axis) to support undercuts. The ball screw-driven 4-axis control allows for smooth, high-precision machining.
The DWX-4W’s high-performance 60,000 RPM Jaeger spindle supports precision milling of glass ceramic and composite resin. With its multi-pin clamp, the DWX-4W can mill up to three different pin-type materials continuously in one operation. As a result, prosthetics for up to three different patients can be produced in a single production run, saving time, labor and costs.
Fast, efficient and user-friendly 5-axis machining
The DWX-51D is designed for effortless, precision production of dental prosthetics from copings, crowns and bridges to inlays, onlays and abutments, etc. With a host of automated features and a clean, stable work environment, the DWX-51D is the perfect solution for labs wanting to increase production or those looking to get into digital milling for the first time.
It’s no accident that the DWX-51D has all the advanced and easy features that a lab technician is looking for in a production mill. After years of extensive research in which users were asked what they needed, the DWX-51D was developed to enhance user experience, maximize ease-of-use and improve output quality, all with the reliability Roland DG machines are known for.
A new C-shape clamp reduces misalignment issues by providing exact alignment. It requires the adjustment of only two screws. The DWX-51D also has a unique airflow with a powerful vacuum to reduce dust, while an ionizer removes static when milling PMMA.
